Intro to Sub metering systems

The foundation for usage analysis in Mestro Portal consists of your main utility meters, which for example track electricity, heating and water data. When all that's required is an overarching picture of total usage, those meters usually do the trick. But, if what you want is a more detailed view over, say, the heating usage for a certain building, or the water consumption of a single apartment, then a Sub metering system is most certainly required.

Many of our customers already have such systems installed in their properties, and there’s a whole bunch of different options available on the market. We offer you the possibility of integrating your sub metering system into Mestro Portal so that you can perform both general and in-depth analyses. Our Tenant Module is just one example of all the neat functions that becomes available for you to use when such an incorporation is completed.
