Release March 6, 2024

In this release of Mestro Portal, we offer enhancements including environmental contracts for waste, node ID in data status report, search functionality for tenant linking, and version management of areas in premise contracts!

Environmental contract and CO2 for Waste

Do you want to expand your scope 3 to include waste as a reporting point in your sustainability report? Of course, we want you to be able to do that, and here's a part of being able to report emissions for waste. With this update, it will be possible to set up environmental contracts for waste in the Cost and environmental contracts tool and connect agreements to waste meters.

Node ID included in excel from Data Status Report

Now all users will get node IDs on both meters and properties when the Meter Data Status is downloaded to Excel or CSV from the portal. Great, isn't it?

An Export ID column has also been added to the Meter Data Status. Export ID is the ID that grid companies or metering systems send data to us at Mestro for your meter. Sometimes installation ID and export ID differ from each other, but the ID included in metering system exports is now in the export ID column.

FYI: both node ID and export ID are useful IDs to have when troubleshooting meters with our support!

Tenant Linking to premise contracts has a search function

When users link premise contracts to tenants, it is now possible to filter tenants through a search function. Great for those of you who have many tenants added, and will save time when moving tenants into premise contracts.

Premise contracts consider usage and cost

When setting up premise contracts, both usage and cost are taken now into account. This change applies to meters connected to lease contracts that, in addition to their energy usage, also have calculated costs associated with them through cost agreements. Previously, only usage was included in premise contract calculations. Now you get both!

Version management of areas in premise contracts

Areas on premise contracts are now version-managed, so it's possible to set different areas for different periods on the same lease contract.

Enhanced feature in the Budget Tool's editing

Following feedback from customers, more functionality has now been added to the Budget Tool's bulk editing. It's no longer only possible to specify relative Cost, Usage, or Average, but also actual values. It's also possible to set monthly values, not just yearly values!

Usage analysis is now locked to the selected resolution

Usage analysis now follows the resolution selected in Report Settings, regardless of the period you choose. Previously, there was a setting that grouped time values when the you check over 3 months or more. This is now fixed so that hourly values is always hourly values!
