Hyvää Joulaa! Just days before the Christmas bells start ringing, we release a holiday update! New languages are just one merry example!
Billed cost
Starting from this release, we will be able to display your billed costs in your Mestro Portal. You can use this as a complement to the calculated cost that is included in your Mestro subscription, or as an alternative to adding real contracts.
The actual import of this data from your own energy bills is not carried out by Mestro, this part is carried out through a third-party actor that imports this electronically, e.g. Palette. The first step in activating the billed cost function is therefore to find out which system you are using so that we may integrate it to the Mestro Portal. After this is done, all of your reports that support cost (Cost, Ranking, Trend analysis and Tenant billing) will show the billed cost.
This also allows you to see the billed cost divided into separate tenant contracts in the Tenant billing report, and just as for calculated cost, the costs specifications will be available (just at a lower detail level).
The Tenant billing report belongs to the Tenant Billing Module. If this isn’t activated in your account, just contact your Customer Success Manager and we’ll tell you more about it!
Targets and Reference Values
We want our Mestro users to be able to sit down and follow up on a set goal in an interface that provides feedback on its current trajectory, and also what it has looked like during previous years. Being able to do this will allow you to perform more accurate decision making and tracking of your targets. This very function will from now on be available to you in the Trend analysis under Goals in the settings bar.
Primarily, there are two types of goals that are traceable:
-
The first one is a goal where usage is aimed to be lowered by a certain percentage until a chosen year (having set another year as a starting point).
Example: The energy usage is set to decrease by 10 % during a five-year period, between 2019 and 2023. The starting point for this goal is the usage in 2018. The red line in the graph shows the targeted amount of energy that will be used during the final year, 2023.
-
The second one is a goal where usage is targeted to decrease by a certain percentage annually (having set another year as a starting point).
Example: Starting from 2019, energy usage is targeted to decrease by 10 % annually.
NOTE: It is currently only possible to set a percentage goal between 1-30 %. Also, it is only possible to set a starting point in a year if the previous year is already added into the report.
As always, it is possible to download these reports in an Excel or CSV format.
Tervetuloa / Velkommen / Welcome!
Do you have colleagues in Finland and Norway? Perfect!
From now on, they will be able to use the Mestro Portal and feel completely at home.
And lastly, four quick ones...
Mestro Input – Update
The Input app meter interface has been updated so that it now displays both Installation ID and Meter number. Since the 4.4.0 release (October 28th 2020), there is a new attribute that may be filled in, Meter number. This will from now be displayed in Input.
Filter Data coverage 0-100 %
The Ranking report now contains a filter that allows for the filtering of arbitrary data coverage between 0-100 %.
Meter Data Status - New tag
There is a new option to register different types of measuring point malfunctions, helping to explain why certain data is not accessible: “Meter data is missing in My pages”.
Meter Data Status - New column
In facilitating the inventory work of your meters, a new column has been added. This displays whether a meter has got a data source which is connected or not.
